3 Bath Salt Recipes for Unwinding.

Slip into fall like you slip into a hot bath with 3 bath salt recipes for unwinding your body and your soul.

Somehow September seems like the New Year. Summer is over and the seasons shift into Autumn, school has begun and work kicks back into gear. These days of high technology it seems we’re constantly switched into high gear. We don’t allow enough ‘down time’ for our minds. Meditation has been getting more popular because we’re beginning to recognize that our minds need a break from repetitive thoughts and a break from high tech stimulus. Nothing some essential oils and a hot bath can’t help with!

Salts & Essential Oils relax your muscles & your nervous system

Essential Oils are the powerhouse of the healing plant, tree or fruit it originates from.  Aromatherapy used in the bath is soooo wonderful! You can breathe in the essential oils, calming and quieting the brain and nervous system, and it absorbs in your body helping with muscle tightness/soreness and pain. Try one of these easy bath salt recipes to restore calm, quiet & perspective in your life.

 

3 Bath Salt Recipes for Unwinding you Body & Soul

 

Recipe 1 – Soothe sore muscles and a tired mind:

1 cup Salts*

1 tbsp Baking Soda (optional) but makes your skin sooooo soft!

6 drops Lavender

4 drops Eucalyptus Globulus/ or Rosemary

 

Recipe 2 – Blissed out bath:

1 cup Salts

1 Tbsp Baking Soda

3 drops Frankincense

5 drops Geranium

 

Recipe 3 – Peace & calm for body and soul:

1 cup Salts

1 Tbsp Baking Soda

4 drops Patchouli

3 drops Ylang Ylang

 

Salts* to use:  Any amount or mixture of: Sea Salt, Epson Salts, Himalayan Sea Salt.

Mix all the ingredients together and add to your bath water. Mix in to dissolve and be careful of a more slippery tub.
